Hi, I’m Wendy Hammond and I fell in love with black and white photography using 35mm film when I was 16.  I found the photography medium the perfect platform to artistically express myself. Life then took me in another direction and a different career.  Photography continued to be my back drop and I used it to capture my travels and growing family in a picture story of my life.  Black and white for me heightens the depth of mood and texture through the variant layers of grey and the contrasts that can be achieved.  Occasionally though, colour will creep in if I feel it adds to the story or thought.
